For as long as I can remember I’ve been a snowboard nerd. Luckily, I know a few too.
We build snowboards in the flattest place in Canada — and they’re damn good. So good they won an award for best new product at an event with the word ‘Innovate’ in its name.
They’re just for fun, but they’re an artistic expression for me, and a technical one for Matt (pictured below).

Would you believe me if I told you that some of North America’s top professional snowboarders grew up riding in its flattest place?
I set out to tell the story of the small Winnipeg snowboard scene through the eyes of the people that got the most out of it.
Filmed over winter 2016, this short doc premiered to a sold out theatre of dirt bags.
